Welcome to clancyinfrastructure.com. The purpose of this website is to keep you informed about Clancy’s latest effort to upgrade its water system. Check back often for updates.
As you may recall, throughout 2017 and 2018 the Clancy Water and Sewer District worked with Jefferson County, Midwest Assistance Program, and Great West Engineering to complete a water system Preliminary Engineering Report (PER). The PER was used to support funding applications to the Montana Department of Commerce (MDOC) Treasure State Endowment Program (TSEP), Department of Natural Resource and Conservation Renewable Resource Grant & Loan program (DNRC-RRGL), and the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). The District was successful in each of these funding applications and was also awarded a grant from the Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) program through the US Army Corps of Engineers. To date over $1.5 Million in grant funding has been secured for water system improvements project serving the Clancy community.
Currently, the District is planning to move forward with a hydrogeologic study to determine potential locations for drilling public water supply wells. They are working with Great West Engineering and intend to use the DNRC-RRGL and WRDA funding to cover related costs.
District Board meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of each month at the Old Red School House Meeting Room
